The Association of American Schools in South America
Established in 1961, AASSA is a non-profit membership association currently serving
forty-one American / International schools throughout South America and offshore islands. NOTE:
The Recruiting Fair for the 2002-03 school year was held Dec. 6-9, 2001. Applications are
no longer being accepted. If you are interested in applying for the 2003-04 school year,
please submit your application after April 1st, 2002.

International Schools Services
ISS recruits for approximately 200 international American schools worldwide,
including community-sponsored, company sponsored, and proprietary institutions. In most
cases, the curriculum is U.S.-oriented and English is the language of instruction.

University of Northern Iowa
Offering services since 1976, the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) Overseas
Placement Service for Educators, a program area of the UNI Career Center, connects
international K-12 schools with certified educators year round. Services offered include
the UNI Overseas Recruiting Fair, credential and referral services, and related
publications. UNI is home to the original international fair for educators.

Queen's University
As a result of increasing interest in teaching overseas, the Placement
Office sponsors the Teachers' Overseas Recruiting Fair, which is for
certified teachers with at least two years of full-time elementary or
secondary classroom experience. Some places are reserved for
inexperienced teachers, with priority given to Queen’s B.Ed. candidates.
Teacher candidates from other universities and teachers without two
years experience are welcome to apply and will be accommodated as space
allows.

Carney, Sandoe and Associates
CS&A recruits teachers and administrators for placement in private, independent
schools across the US and abroad. CS&A hosts Conferences in four locations throughout
the late winter and early spring of every year.

Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
ACSI is in a unique position to channel information on available ministry
opportunities at international Christian schools around the world. We currently have a
membership of 5,000+ Christian schools in over 95 countries around the world, 150 of which
are classified as missionary kid or international Christian schools. As an association
ACSI does not hire or send teachers to member international schools. What we do is connect
Christian teachers interested in serving overseas with the 750 + ministry opportunities
available at member schools each year. One of our services to member schools is the annual
ACSI International Christian Educators Recruiting Fair. The 2002-2003 ACSI Recruiting Fair
will be held September 30th in Deerfield, Illinois, October 1st in Chicago, Illinois and
October 3rd and 4th in Portland, Oregon. More information and registration is available on
the ACSI website. Admission is free.
